Jeana de Wynter-Wilkie

Chair

Jeana has had two decades of experience in the film screening industry. Her passion for films, community and education are at the forefront of her daily life. Jeana was raised in Grand Forks and has a goal to see the art world grow in the Boundary Country for the betterment of all, including the education of children. Jeana currently works for SD51 as a child and youth worker.

Dwight Garfield

Director

Dwight is most likely apart of your everyday routine and may not realize! Front of house represntative for the Grand Forks post office, Dwight is always smiling behind the counter. Dwight is also a major part of the 4th Street Studios, which is a local ambassador for local music and works with other like minded music lovers to create an open space for those that have a passion for music.

Cam O’Dell

Director

Cam's education in visual arts and design has inspired him to be more involved in the art world. Originally from Ontario, Cam ventured to the Boundary Country to create a relaxed life where he could give back to the community after his time at the University of Winnipeg. Cam currently manages Cactus Creek Signs in Grand Forks and utilizes his educational expertise to help the community grow and build its brands on a regular basis.

Garry Pendergast

Treasurer

Garry has been involved with the performing arts in BC for over 15 years. He has been the Executive Director for Revelstoke Arts Council (2007 – 2018) and Chair and Treasurer for the BC Touring Council from 2008 to 2014. He is passionate about live performance and wants to see The Gem Theatre in Grand Forks and the Boundary district to become a hub for live performance in BC.

Kirstin Aquiline

Secretary

Kirstin has her bachelor’s degree in business administration and has been working in that field for two decades. Her organizational skills and comprehension of the day-to-day office demands, and requests are where she thrives. Kirstin is an owner at the Historic Gem Theatre in Grand Forks and is currently the Office Administrative Manager for Cronometer an online tech company based in Revelstoke.

Shaun Aquiline

Executive Director

Shaun has worked in the broadcasting industry for over a decade as a Morning Show Host and Account Executive. After attending Douglas College, UBC & BCIT, Shaun was in the film & television industry until moving full-time into broadcasting and journalism. Shaun has produced numerous plays and stage performances over the years including a short film entitled Working Class Heroes that was a part of the short film circuit. Shaun is an owner of the Historic Gem Theatre and currently is the Morning Show Host on 102.3 Juice FM (CKGF) in Grand Forks.
